Mukim Kilanas Fund Launched

Begawan - The village council of Mukim Kilanas yesterday
launched a fund for residents of the Mukim. The fund is dedicated to
all residents who may need financial assistance.
It was launched by the Penghulu of
Mukim Kilanas, Awg Hj Abdullah bin Hj Halus at Bendahara Sakam Primary
School. The Penghulu of Mukim Kilanas officiated the ceremony by
cutting a ribbon and being the first to donate to, the fund.
The fund, called "Tabung Derma
Kebajikkan Mukim Kilanas' comprises donations which will be collected
and distributed to the needy in the Kilanas area. The event is a
run-up to the 'Jejak Kampung' project. Activities for the main event
will begin tomorrow evening, with weeklong exhibitions and sales of
various items starting from 8am to 11.30pm. The official launching of
the project will be on September 23 and it will conclude on September
25.
The Mukim consists of six villages
that stretch along the Tutong Road. The project is being run by the
