HRH Takes Part In Youth Squash Championship

Bandar Seri Begawan - Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah took part in the final of the Youth and Sports Department's Youth Scheme Squash Championship 2005, yesterday afternoon, RTB reported yesterday.

Around 80 students from eight schools took part in the three-day championship. Her Royal Highness won third place in the category for girls under 19 years of age. Prizes were presented by the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Paduka Awg Hj Yaakub bin Abu Bakar.

The championship aimed to expose students to the sport whilst also helping to produce new talents for the country. Yesterday's event was held at the National Squash Centre in Berakas. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
