Fire Services Dept Muara Branch
Gets Housing Units

Begawan - The Fire Services Department Muara branch now has new
housing units for its staff.
In a ceremony held yesterday morning,
Awg Mohd Salleh, Acting Assistant Director of the Fire Services
Department received the mock key for a residential block and two
housing units from Pg Ali bin Pg Mohammad, who represented the
Director of Building Services of the Public Works Department.
The three housing units located on a
1.823-hectare land consist of two SD bungalows for four families and a
F-02 class flat for eight families.
The construction was undertaken by
the L.C.Y Development Sdn Bhd at a cost of B$1,841.000.
The project took 15 months to
complete. The new flat will be presented to staff with the position of
`Rank File' while the bungalows will be allocated to Station Officers.
Similar housing units had also been
presented to the Lambak Kanan Fire Services Department earlier this
year that are now in full use.
Also present to yesterday
handing-over ceremony were members of the Fire Services Department of
the Muara Branch, Public Works Department personnel and members of the
L.C.Y Development Sdn Bhd.
A Doa Selamat was read to bless the
ceremony. Currently there are over 1,100 Fire Services personnel in
Brunei. --
