Kg Lambak Dart Championship

Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of 56 teams of darters are taking part in a Dart Championship which was jointly organised for the first time by the Consultative Council of Kg Lambak `A' and SSD Dart Association Kg Lambak at the residence of the Village Head of Kg Lambak `A'.

The championship which is divided into two categories - doubles and singles – is open to all residents of Mukim Berakas `A' and `B' as well as invited participants.

The competition which will last for two weeks began with the doubles category on Thursday while the singles category will run from Sept 22 to 24. The final of the competition will take place on Sunday, Sept 25 at the same venue.

The Village Head of Kg Lambak `A', Awg Hj Bujang bin Ahim, officiated open the competition. Also present at the opening was the Village Head of Kg Lambak B', Mej ar (B) Awg Hj Jair bin Hj Wahab.

The championship is an annual activity of the Consultative Council Kg Lambak `A'. The top eight darters will be chosen to represent the Berakas District Dart Team. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
