By Azrol Azmi

Bandar Seri Begawan - Students who are interested to study in the most cosmopolitan city of Australia will be pleased to know that James Hon has been appointed by the two top universities in Sydney, namely Macquarie University and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Studying in Australia's most famous city undoubtedly holds many rewards for students. They will be able to enjoy Sydney's vibrant outdoor activities, magnificent beaches and be within a short distance to the art, cultural and shopping capital of Australia.

Both Macquarie University and UTS will be receiving their first students from Brunei via James Hon's Offices this year.

"Sydney has long been the preferred destination for students from Europe and Americas. However, there are still lingering misconceptions in Asia that it is an expensive city,"' said Mr. Delon Hon.

"With its efficient and inexpensive transport network, studying in Sydney could be just as affordable if students are prepared to live in suburbia, away from the city central. This is the message we need to get across to all prospective students and parents in Brunei."

Situated on a 135-acre of spacious parklands, Macquarie University's North Ryde campus is located near Sydney's renowned North Shore.

Macquarie is also recognised globally as an innovative university with an excellence in teaching and research.

Macquarie's approach to education equips students for success in global workplace. It also boasts of having some .of the most experienced and inspirational educators in the world as 65 percent of its staff hold doctoral qualification.

Macquarie University offers many programmes in both undergraduate and postgraduate ranging from Actuarial Studies and Biotechnology to Business, Education and Psychology.
