Financial Planning Certificates
For HSBC Staff

Begawan - Seven HSBC's frontline personnel were awarded
Financial Planning certificates at a ceremony held at the Laksamana
College of Business, located in the capital.
Present at the ceremony were the
Chairman of Laksamana College, Pehin Orang Kaya Ratna Setia Dato
Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Hapidz and the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC,
Mr. Guy Priestley, who congratulated the recipients and later
presented the certificates.
The course was conducted by The
Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), through the
Laksamana College of Business.
The Financial Planning Certificates
were awarded to the bank's staff members to mark their successful
completion of various Financial Planning modules over the last 18
months.
The staff members ranged from a
branch manager to senior personal bankers from several HSBC branches
in Brunei. The FPAM Financial Planning modules cover topics such as
Tax Planning, Risk Management and Insurance Planning, Retirement
Planning and Estate Planning.
These HSBC frontline staff will now
be formally qualified, which will enhance the quality of service
received by the bank's customers, in the form of better financial
planning consistent with international standards. --
