Local Man Remanded For Theft

Temburong - A 28-year-old local was sent for remand at the Temburong Police Station pending investigations on a charge of theft before the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday.

No plea was taken from Md Taha bin Hj Md Jinin for the alleged theft of a lawnmower and a steel chainsaw from a garage at a house in Kg Simbatang, Temburong at about 1 am on July 12 last year.

The defendant will be produced before the courts on September 22 for further mention of the case. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
