Tutong Muslims Get Share

Tutong - A ceremony for the distribution of dates given to all Muslims in the nation by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DiPertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, in conjunction with the fasting month of Ramadhan, was held yesterday at the Utama Complex Hall, Tutong Community Hall.

The Imam of Masjid Hassanal Bolkiah, Tutong, blessed the event with the recital of a thanksgiving prayer.

Present as guest of honour was Awg Abd Mutalib bin Haji Mohd Idris, Tutong District Officer. He handed the kurnia dates to heads of villages. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
