Brunei IMT 2nd Group Leaves For
Philippines

Begawan - The second Brunei group of the international
Monitoring Team/IMT left for the Philippines yesterday.
Led by Lieutenant Colonel Hj Jol
Jublee bin Hj Bangkol, the group comprising ten personnel from the
Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) left the country in a Royal Brunei
Air Force CN-235 aircraft.
A departure ceremony for the IMT 2°d
group was held at the Royal Brunei Air Force Base in Rimba. The guest
of honour at the ceremony was Awg Hj Mustappa bin Hj Sirat, Permanent
Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
The function was also attended by
Colonel (U) Dato Paduka Hj Mahmud bin Hj Saidin, the Acting Commander
RBAF, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy
Permanent Secretary II at the Ministry of Defence, the Ambassador of
the Republic of Philippines, Military Commanders and Commandants,
Senior Officers, Officers and other ranks at the Ministry of Defence
and RBAF.

The group is going to take over the
task from the first group, which is led by Lieutenant Colonel Hj
Aminuddin Ehsan bin Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Hj Abdin.
The second group is made up of Major
Hj Mohd Norfahssin bin Hj Abd Karim, Major Hj Abd Razak bin Abd Kadir,
Captain Hairin bin Jafar@Ghafar, Captain Pg Aeddie Masjaffrie bin Pg
Hj Mohd Jaafar, Captain Amirul Adly bin Hj-Ali, Captain Mohammad
Hanafi Azami bin Nayan, Warrant Officer 2 (Air) Hj Ibrahim-bin Hj
Adam, Corporal Muhd Azizan bin Muhd Redzuan and Corporal (Navy)
Aliuddin bin Hj Sarbini.
The first group commenced their task
in Cotabato, Mindanao last October 2004.
Also present to bid the second group
farewell were the team members' families and relatives.
Prior to departure, a - Doa Selamat
was read by Ustaz Hj Roslan bin Hj Sulaiman, Senior Religious Officer
at the Ministry of Defence. --
