38 Foreign Workers Questioned In 'Operasi Suluh 17” Held

Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of nine CID from Jerudong District Police raided a workers housing area at Spg 103, Kg Mulaut, No 64, Jln Sg Tampoi on Tuesday.

The operation codenamed "Operasi Suluh 17", started around 11 pm and ended at 3am. A total of 38 foreign workers from Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Philippines were questioned, two of whom were women.

Nine foreign workers failed to show valid documents and were brought to the Sengkurong Police Station for further investigations. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
