Home Affairs Minister Visits Jerudong Jail

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Minister of Home Affairs, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Awg Adanan Pehin Dato Hj Mohammad Yusof today visited the Prisons Department of Jerudong.

Also present were Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Dani bin Hj Ibrahim. The morning visit was to enhance betterunderstanding of the Prisons Department.

Director of Prisons Department, Hj Ahmad Hj Dullah, briefed the visitors on the functions, tasks and works of the Department.

He also led the visitors on a tour of the facilities and the prison vicinity. During the visit, guests interacted with officers from the Prisons Department.

Also present were Deputy Director of Prisons Department, Awg Hj Mohammed Hj Awg Damit, senior officers and Prisons Department management. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
