Top Draw For FA Cup

Bandar Seri Begawan - Defending champions DPMM FC will start their FA Cup title defence against fellow Premier I team Wijaya FC after they were drawn together in the 2nd round draw of the competition, dubbed as the most exciting fixture of the 16 2nd round clashes.

The draw was carried out on Sunday at the Belapan field during half-time of the Premier I league game between QAF FC and Kasuka FC as 32 club representatives were present to witness the fate of their club for the FA Cup 2nd round.

Given the honour to do the draw was Mr Buketa Ranko, Brunei M-League team coach, and Major Hj Lamat bin Hj Libut of the B-League Matches Committee.

The 2nd round will see ten Premier 1, 14 Premier 2 and eight non-league clubs from round I battle it out for the main prize.

Round 2 matches are scheduled to take place between September 17th and 25th at three venues - JBS field, Belapan field in Berakas and BSRC field in Seria. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
