30 Winners Selected In GTE Lucky Draw

Bandar Seri Begawan - GTE Directories had recently participated in the National Summit on Information Society, NASIS e-Applications Expo held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.

JTB attracted huge crowds to its booth during the four-day event, especially with the presence of a mascot who was attired in CD-Rom costume.

According to James Lee, General Manager of GTE, "the response was overwhelming, whereby members of the public had the opportunity to view first hand the Brunei Telephone Directory in the form of CD-Rom."

Visitors of the booth commented on the easy and fast retrieval of information and telephone numbers.

During the last day of the expo, GTE Directories also held a lucky draw in which 30 winners were chosen.

On hand to pick the first 15 winners was Greg Hanifee, AVP of GTE Directories (B) Sdn Bhd, while another 15 were selected by Hjh Norliha bte Hj Abu Bakar, acting director of JTB.

Present to witness the event was James Lee as well as invited guests from various ministerial departments, JTB officials and visitors.

The winners will be contacted by phone and an announcement for the prize giving presentation will also been announced at a later date.

Among the prizes to be won include a 42" plasma TV, home theatre systems and electronic home appliances. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
