Waste Services And Management Handover Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Temburong District Department yesterday officially handed over the task of waste collection services- and management of Temburong District waste disposal site to the Department of Environment, Park and Recreation (JASTRE).

Present at the handover signing ceremony, on behalf of the Temburong District Department, was Pengiran Abd Haris bin Pengiran Hj Shabudin, Temburong District Officer, and Awg Hj Zakaria bin Hj Sarudin, the Director of Environment, Park and Recreation, on behalf of JASTRE.

The handover is one of the steps taken by the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in its effort to improve the services in the country to ensure cleanliness of the environment. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
