Sampah Family Hits The Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - Mr Litterbug and Mr Sampah recently made an appearance at The Mall, Gadong.

It was the second time members of the Sampah Family had done so to raise awareness of the importance of keeping the country clean.

The "family", led by artist Haji Md Farid bin Haji Aliakbar of Maktab Duli PMAB, aims to heighten the public's awareness of the rubbish problems and pollution in the country.

Members of the Sampah Family wore suits with rubbish sewn onto them to attract public attention.

When approached, members would explain the importance of cleanliness and remind the public the consequences should the environment be taken granted of.
