BDNAC and MoE accredit Informatics Advanced Diplomas at CCCT

Bandar Seri Begawan - Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology (CCCT), the master franchisee of Informatics Holdings Singapore, received accreditation from Brunei Darussalam Accreditation Council, Ministry of Education for the programmes the college is offering.

These include Advanced Diploma inAccounting, Advanced Diploma in Business and IT, and Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing, Management and Finance).

The two and a half year programmes enable students to complete their degrees with advanced standing in Singapore, UK, Australia, new Zealand and USA. They are internationally recognised as they are designed and developed in conjunction with several universities from UK and Australia. Entry requirement for the diplomas is 3O/L plus I A/L or LCCI level 3 or other approved qualifications and experience.

CCCT also offers achievable pathway for students with minimum 3 O/L to progress into the advanced diploma through its Integrated Preparatory Course (IPC). IPC is an integration of LCCI level 3 and Informatics basic skills course.

Dr Jenkins Bright, the principal, said: "This IPC course prepares young students to enter the advanced diplomas and progress into degrees."

A combination of basic skills and the professional LCCI diplomas provides the students with academic and work related tools.

Qualified and experienced management of CCCT supported by their qualified team has developed CCCT concept to deliver a holistic education to the students.

This concept is a blend of formal classes, skills training and guided work place attachments.

Studying at CCCT includes classwork, counselling and training in various skills, public speaking and extracurricular activities.

According to the principal, these extra curricular activities such as charity car wash and beach cleaning help students to work in teams and also encourage them to participate in social activities.

Besides that, the guided work place attachments allow students to integrate academic knowledge to workplace practices.

CCCT also arranges bank loans for eligible students and offers scholarships to meritorious students.
