Mass Prayers For PSR Students

Bandar Seri Begawan - A communal prayer was yesterday organised for Primary 6 students from schools within the Brunei I Division as part of efforts to ensure the success of students sitting for the upcoming PSR Exam.

The annually held project is conducted by the Religious Section, Committee of Headmaster and Deputy Head Masters of Primary Schools all over Brunei I Division.

Gracing the event as guest of honour was Cikgu Hj Talip bin Hj Ibrahim, the Islamic Studies Officer of Brunei I Division, Ministry of Education.

Mass prayers began at 7.30 am at the Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque of Kampong Tamoi.

Students - accompanied by teachers - gathered as early as 6.30am at the vicinity. In total about 700 students attended the annual event. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
