Encouraging response to e-Applications expo

The e-Applications expo organised by the Ministry of Communications in conjunction. with the National Summit of Information Society (NASIS) has received an overwhelming response from the public.

Held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, the expo was launched yesterday and is will run till September 10.

The expo, an ICT applications exhibition promoting revolutionary and comprehensive technological solutions, is made up of some 40 booths.

The event involves the participation of several government departments and private sector organisations.

His Majesty, HRH the Crown Prince and other members of the royal family also consented to visit and tour the booths at the e-Applications expo.

Meanwhile at the expo, GTE Directories (B) Sdn Bhd in collaboration with JTB, launched their first ever electronic Brunei Telephone Directory in CD-Rom format, at the JTB booth. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
