ISB Welcomes Two New Malay
Teachers

Begawan - As part of its objective to promote the learning of
Malay at ISB, the school recently recruited two highly experienced
local Malay teachers.
Cikgu
Hj Mariat bin Hj Abdullah, who has extensive experience in the
Brunei-Cambridge GCE `0' Level Bahasa Melayu course, will be preparing
students for final examinations in November. He is also very
passionate about drama and has penned several books which are
published by the Language and Literature Bureau for use in schools
across the country.

Hj Zainulabidin Awang Bungsu, a highly experienced and enthusiastic
Literature specialist, will be teaching the 6th Form International
Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Malay Literature course, to develop
students' formal language skills as well as cultivate their interest
in studying Malay Literature.

Director Mr David G Taylor said: "Both Malay teachers join ISB's team
of experienced teachers whose goal is to further develop our
world-class education and enhance our excellent standards of
achievement.
