Pehin Lau Ah Kok Visits CHMS

Bandar Seri Begawan - Pehin Kapitan China Kornia Diraja Awang Lau Ah Kok yesterday visited Chung Hwa Middle School (CHMS) in the capital to have a closer look at the school facilities and to mingle with the school teachers. Pehin Lau was welcomed by the school's principal, Mdm Kho Guik Lan, and two assistant principals, Mr Ang Sak Tiong and Mdm Keren Hu Chai Yean.

During the visit, Pehin Lau visited various sections of the school, including the IT department, multimedia language lab, computer room as well as the Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary classrooms. He also took a closer look at the school's gym, library and Legacy Gallery, which features old pictures, activities and the school's achievements.

According to the teacher in-charge, the multimedia language lab is equipped with 40 computers and can accommodate up to 40 students.

Pehin Lau was accompanied by the chairman of Overseas Chinese Taipei Association, Mr Lim Tiong Tin. Also present were CHMS Chief Librarian Mdm Pang Yen Pei; Assistant Discipline Master Mr Woo Ming Ming; and Head of Department of Computer Studies Mr Mathew Wong.
