Religious Teachers Complete Computer Skills Course

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 18 teachers from eight religious schools in Brunei Ii yesterday completed their computer courses conducted at the Royal Brunei Navy Primary School in Muara. The teachers had been attending courses in basic computing and Microsoft Word applications since early August. The courses were organised by the Committee of Religious School Leaders (JKPSSU) Brunei II.

According to the committee's head of ICT & Publicity, Awg Zulkifee Hj Puteh, the training enabled the teachers to upgrade their overall teaching skills.

In a ceremony held yesterday, the participants received their course certificates from the guest of honour, Cikgu Hj Yaakob bin Daud, the headmaster of the Royal Brunei Navy Primary School. One participant, Dyg Rohayati Hj Abd Rahman received meanwhile received' the "Best Participant" award, which was presented to her by JKPSSU Chairman Hj Md Said bin Abas. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
