Senior cyclist rewarded

A senior citizen aged 83 was awarded for his participation in a bicycle expedition held Sunday in conjunction with His Majesty's 59th Birthday celebrations. The expedition was organised by the Lumapas Youth Association with the cooperation of the Youth and Sports Department. Photo shows Hj Matassan bin Penghulu Kalong receiving his reward from Hj Jemat bin Hj Ampal, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Hj Matassan received a contribution from the Triple Star Enterprise and the Islamic Bank of Brunei Berhad. About 150 cyclists took part in the 14-km expedition.
