By Dannie Abu Basrah

Bandar Seri Begawan - It was display of the sheer difference in class yesterday when the three big boys involved in B-League Premier 1 matches unmercifully thrashed their opponents by big margins, which eventually saw a total of 25 goals being scored in only three games.

League leaders DPMM FC strolled to a 7-0 victory over NBT at the Jerudong Mini Stadium while army boys ABDB saw off Indera 8-3 at the Penanjong Camp stadium. Meanwhile, QAF bounced back from the loss in their last game by thumping Bandaran KB 7-0 in Kuala Belait.

QAF FC hotshot Viban Francis Bayong scored four goals, while the other three were a hattrick from his strike partner Riwandi Wahit.

Riwandi opened the scoring for QAF FC with a near post header in the 12th minute after some loose marking' from the Bandaran KB defence. A minute later, Bayong doubled the advantage, sidestepping the goalie after latching on to a through ball before slotting the ball home with ease.

Bandaran KB were pressed back for most of the half, but still managed to respond with a shot from Hj Affandi Hj Julaihi that went just inches wide. Then, in the 26th minute Riwandi score his second of the game with a simple tap-in off a pass by Hardi Anak Bujang.

Five minutes after the break, Bayong was got on the scoresheet again, as a result of a neat one-two pass with

Japanese Ito Dan who himself hit the post in the 64th minute from a freekick. Bayong completed his hattrick in the 68th minute, converting a penalty after Hardi was tripped in the Bandaran KB box.

Bayong score his fourth soon after, beating the offside trap before curling the ball to the top right corner of the Bandaran KB goal. Riwandi did his threesome when he scored QAF FC's seventh goal in injury time.
