Bandar Seri
Begawan - The Consulate Office of Brunei Darussalam in Kota
Kinabalu city, located on the 8th Floor, MAA Building, Api-Api
Complex, clarified on the collection of social visit pass and
employment visas, which have been approved by the Immigration
Department, Brunei, recently.
"We have four private clinics to
carry out health check-ups on prospective employees, who have been
provided employment visas issued by the Immigration and Registration
in Bandar Seri Begawan.
"It is up to the health clinics that
conduct these health checks to carry out their laboratory tests, which
takes an estimated time of three days."
The counter for receiving visas at
the Consulate Office is open from 8.30am till 12 noon, while
applicants are advised to collect their visas at the counter between
2pm and 4pm.
The closure of the counters depends
on the number of applicants that day.
The Brunei Darussalam Consulate
Office receives 20 to 30 faxes a day and some delays that occurred
were due to many faxes received each day and the same machines are
used to send out faxes. The Consulate said it has never experienced
broken down fax machines. --
