Home Affairs Ministry Celebrates Israk Mikraj

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Home Affairs and departments under it held an Israk Mikraj ceremony at the Fire Department Headquarters in Berakas yesterday.

Present as guest of honour was Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Awg Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Dato Seri Setia Haji Awg Mohd Yusof, Minister of Home Affairs.

During the event, a religious talk on Israk Mikraj was delivered by Ustaz Hj Ismail bin Awang Besar from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Israk Mikraj is one of the biggest events in the Islamic calendar. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
