'Sampah' Family Roams Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - A Maktab Duli PMAMB upper pre-university student, Hj Md Farid bin Hj Aliakbar, is currently conducting an art project with his art teachers, Ms Cathy Hicks and Ms Armacester, and his fellow friends.

Hj Md Farid's work is aimed at heightening people's awareness of the problem of rubbish and pollution in Brunei, which will hopefully make people think more carefully about the urban and rural environment and how they treat it.

The `Sampah' family, which comprises of four models, 'Mr Litterbug', 'Mr Sampah', 'Sampah Man' and 'Perempuan Sampah Terakhir', will be appearing in different parts of the country wearing the specially made 'Sampah' suit.

Meanwhile, 'Mr Sampah' and 'Sampah Man' has already made their first appearance last Sunday in the capital. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
