Hyundai Sonata Launched

Bandar Seri Begawan - Setia Motors yesterday unveiled the new look of Hyundai Sonata 2.4 sedan at its showroom.

The 2.4 Theta Four Cylinder DOHC Engine Hyundai Sonata has been pumped up with powerful features and roomy interiors, with a more executive look and a bold exterior much like continental cars.

Standard features include luxurious leather seats with leather interior door trims and leather wrapped steering wheel, electric powered driver's seat for comfort, telescopic power and tilt steering column. Standard safety features have been upgraded with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) that uses a state-of-theart driving stability and steering performance during unpredictable situations like abrupt turns and braking, dual airbag and front and rear disc brakes with ABS.

To ensure driver and passenger comfort during a long journey, Hyundai Sonata runs on a high technology silenttiming belt, double wishbone front suspension, rear independent multi-links suspension and active geometry control suspension (AGCS).

Hyundai Sonata was awarded the best car in the mid-sized sedan segment in 2004. Available in 4 speed shift-tronic automatic transmission, Hyundai Sonata is priced at B$38,000 on the road. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
