Lumapas Marks Royal Birthday

Bandar Seri Begawan - Lumapas A and B residents yesterday marked His Majesty's birthday celebration with activities organised by Persatuan Belia Lumapas (PERLU), in cooperation with the Youth a and Sports Department.

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Major General (B) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Awang Mohammad bin Haji Daud, launched the festivities that will last until tomorrow.

The chairman Awg Haji Karnis bin Haji Mansur, Yang Di-Pertua of Lumapas Youth Association, delivered a speech.

Sekolah Rendah Lutnapas demonstrated a physical exercise. Sky gliders of the Kelab Penerbangan Model ABDB were on show.

The Lumapas youth choir also participated Haji Bakar bin Haji Jeludin, a Lumapas resident, donated blood for the 49th time. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
