RBLF to host Asean Armies rifle competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - The country once again becomes the focal point for the Asean Armies as the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) plays host to the 15th Asean Armies Rifle Meet (15th AARM). The competition is scheduled to officially commence this coming September 5.

Some 500 male and female participants and officials from the Asean armies participating in the meet have already assembled at the AARM Village in Penanjong Garrison since

August 29.

The competition will take place at the Binturan Shooting Range.

The participants are currently undergoing `control practices' in preparation for 10 types of matches including the Novelty- Match that will be completed in the meet ending on September 11.

Meanwhile the 6th Asean Chiefs of Armies Multilateral Meeting (6th ACAMM) will also be conducted at the Empire Hotel & Country Club on September 8. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
