Darts Teams On Target In Langkawi

Begawan - The Brunei A and Brunei Mix teams reached the quarter
finals of the 25th Malaysian Open Darts Championship held in Langkawi
from August 26-28.
In a press release, the Brunei
Darussalam National Darts Association said the Brunei teams each
received RM500 and trophies after going down in their respective
quarterfinals.
Brunei A was defeated by DBKK 5-7,
while Brunei Mix lost 5-7 to SDA.
Brunei Awas represented byAji Rajah,
Pg Mohamad, Serabah, Amiruddin and
Abd Manaf. Brunei Mix comprised
Mohammad, Kamaluddin, Andy Sham and Saiful Rizam.
In the finals, SRC from Singapore
defeated DBKK from Sabah to win the champions prizes of RM6, 000 and
trophies. DBKK won RM2, 000 and trophies. Joint third and fourth were
John Hill from Selangor and SDA from Singapore who each picked up RM1,
000 and trophies.
A total of 66 teams of darters from
13 Malaysian states, Singapore, Thailand and Brunei took part in the
competition. --
