Call For Mosque Prayer Activities

Bandar Seri Begawan - Eight participants competed in the final of the reading surah in murattal organised by the Takmir committee of Lambak Kiri mosque.

The guest of honour, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Awg Abdullah bin Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Minister of Development, encouraged the mosque committee to line up more activities for mosque prayers, and to strengthen ties among the members. He also urged the mosque's Takmir committee to have teamwork.

He also presented prizes to the winners. Hj Abu Bakar bin Pengulu Hj Ibrahim from Masjid RPN Kg Mentiri came first. Awg Nawi bin Hj Omar from Surau STKRJ Lorong 3, Seria came second. Moksin bin Hj Moktar from Masjid Hassanal Bolkiah Tutong was third.

To bless the event, a doa selamat was read by Imam Hj Asnan bin Haji Saman.

Also present were the senior officer of the Mosque Affairs Department, village head, mosque committee members and residents.
