Mega Star Are Mega Futsal Champions

Bandar Seri Begawan - Mega Star FC of Kuala Belait emerged as the winners in this year's Futsal Tournament that was organised by the Sports and Welfare Body of the Survey Department when they finished top of the round robin table for the final three teams.

Mega Star finished with 4 points, followed by Sabina - also with the same points total but a goals-difference disadvantage - and Tutong's Janele FC who failed to collect any point at all. The tournament attracted 37 teams, which were later divided into 12 groups of 3 except for Group L with 4.

The top two teams in each group proceed to the play-off stages before the best three teams played in a round-robin format to determine the champions.

The champions received a trophy and a $300 cash voucher, the runner-up also received trophy plus a $200 cash voucher while the third-placed team walked away with a cash voucher for $100.
