Royal Newly-Weds Feted At HSBC Banquet

Bandar Seri Begawan - HSBC last night hosted a grand banquet in conjunction with the recent Royal Wedding of His Highness the Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah bte Pengiranr Salleh Ab Rahaman.

The banquet was held at the Royal Berkshire, Jerudong Park Polo Club. Upon arrival, the Royal Couple was greeted by Mr. Marcus Hurry, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Brunei and senior executives of HSBC.

Accompanying the Royal Couple were HRH Prince Hi Sufri Bolkiah, Datin Hjh Faizah, HRH Prince Abdul Azim, HRH Prince Abdul Malik, HRH Prince Abdul Mateen, HRH Princess Hjh Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah, and YAM Pg Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Rahim. Also present were the parents of HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah.

Mr. Hurry introduced the Royal Couple to the HSBC senior management and later a group photograph was taken at the Royal Lounge. The Royal Couple signed an album featuring Royal photographs.

To enliven the banquet, there were singing and dance performances by the staff of HSBC.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the "Pesembah" to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
