World Leaders Grace Royal Wedding

Bandar Seri Begawan - The grand Royal Wedding of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Pg Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Sarah attracted Malay Sultans, regional leaders, Middle East and Japan royalties.

Among the first to arrive yesterday morning at the Istana Nurul Iman were former Prime Minister of Singapore Gob Chok Tong and Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Razak, who were led to the audience room.

Leading the delegation to the Throne Room, where the climax of the Royal Wedding, "Bersanding" ceremony took place, was His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, followed by Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito and Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and his spouse.

Next were Singapore's Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi.

The second batch comprised of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Saleha, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Indonesian President Megawati Soekarnoputri.
