Sony seminar reviews, prepares for progress

More than thirty Sony dealers and staffs yesterday afternoon attended the Sony seminar on the 9th floor of Dar Takaful IBB Utama in the capital.

It was organised by Multitrons Sdn Bhd, a sole distributor in Brunei and conducted by Sony experts from Singapore.

Multitrons Director Julaimi Hj Masrah in his welcoming speech said that the objective is to review achievement of Sony products, especially in the past eight years.

He added that there have been a lot of changes with outputs, especially in terms of capacity and technology.

The seminar, he remarked, will act as a way to get familiar and better understanding of the goods.

In addition, he hoped that dealers are going to explore the market for growth of brand in the country.

Meanwhile, Mr H Kobayashi, Managing Director of Sony Singapore, was very happy to note that business in the Sultanate has succeeded and increased.

He added the seminar was to give a know-how on the latest products as well as solutions and functions for customers.

Meanwhile, with support from Takaful IBB Berhad, the Sony Expo 2003 will be held today until September 28, 2003 at the same venue. It will be open to the public from 10 am until 10 pm.
