Several uniformed police guarded the four defendants as they talked it to the courtroom. The gallery has to sit in order accordingly to the tight security in the courtroom.

Fifteen days ago, plainclothes police in the courthouse had to intervene when three men seated in the audience, who appeared to be either ends or relatives of the victim, tried to attack the suspects who were seated in the dock.

The incident took place soon after Senior Magistrate Hj Abdull, Soefri DSP Hj Abidin left his seat.

The four suspects, Suhaili bin Elias, Mohd Shahnizam bin Samsudin, Azman bin Pungut and Fenny De David Martin Danori, will be further remanded for two more weeks as applied by the prosecution yesterday.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Hj Nabil Daraina PDH Badaruddin tell the court that investigations were still incomplete. He also said the prosecution would be referring new charges after the two weeks.

Currently, all of them are being charged with confining the lawyer to extort any properties, which is an offence under section 347 of the Penal Code read with section 34, wherein imprisonment term may exten to 10 years and whipping of not less than 3 strokes if convicted.

All of them will be back in remand at their respective `secret' place of remand. The prosecution had applied that the location not be revealed for safety reasons.
