Guides Mark WAGGGS’ Diamond Date

Bandar Seri
Begawan – The Brunei Darussalam Girl Guides Association held a
forum and workshop yesterday to mark the 75 years of establishment of
the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
The forum, which was attended by
participants of the International Peace Camp 2003, was held at the
Youth Village of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
The World Association of Girl Guides
and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) has chosen the principle: “Our rights, our
responsibilities to live in peace” as foundation in planning their
programmes or members’ activities for the year 2002 - 2005.

Awang Haji Sumaidi, Special Duty Officer at Ministry of Culture, Youth
and Sports, and Dayang Hajah Shireen, Deputy Director of Narcotic
