Beijing - His Majesty the Sultan and Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning attended an Asean Plus 3 (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea) Working Breakfast hosted by Premier Wen Jiabao of the People's Republic of China, at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing.

During the working breakfast, His Majesty joined his Asean and Northeast Asian counterparts in exchanging views on the current financial situation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Later in the day, His Majesty held a bilateral meeting with President Demetris Christofias of Republic of Cyrus at the Sofitel Wanda Hotel in Beijing.

During the meeting, His Majesty and the president exchanged views on bilateral relations. They expressed satisfaction with the existing ties and friendship between Brunei and the Republic of Cyrus. Both leaders also discussed ways to

explore further cooperation in various fields in particular trade, tourism and other areas of interest. His Majesty and President
