Pakistan High Commissioner Hosts Raya Open House

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over the weekend the High Commissioner of Pakistan, Major General (R) Syed Haider Jawed, hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at his residence.

Almost 400 guests which included members from the Pakistan business community as well as Brunei dignitaries, officials and diplomats were invited to the open house.

Mrs Fauzia Jawed, wife of High Commissioner of Pakistan, expressed her excitement in hosting the open house. She told the Bulletin, "This is our first year here in Brunei and is also our very first Hari Raya open house here." -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
