Microsoft Appoints Techdistribution As Authorised Distributor For Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - Microsoft has appointed TechDistribution Limited as their authorised distributor for Brunei. The company, which is based out of British Virgin Island, will be having its official launch in Brunei on November 9 at the Orchid Garden Hotel. All IT resellers in Brunei are invited to the launch at Cesar Grand Hall, Orchid Garden Hotel from 9am to 12.30pm.

The official launch will target Brunei IT resellers and during the launching ceremony there will be two valuable presentations - Introduction to Microsoft Partner Programme by Mr Haja Sheriff, Director-Partner Group, Microsoft Southeast Asia and a Glimpse into Windows Vista & Office 2007 by MrNabil Chebbi, Director, Windows Client Business Group Lead, Microsoft Southeast Asia.

Mr Lars Jeppesen, CEO of TechDistribution and Mr Wasantha Weerakoone, Managing Director ofTechDistribution Sri Lanka will also be present during the launching. They are veterans in IT distribution and will share their experiences with the Brunei IT reseller channel.

According to MrArjuna Ranasinghe, General Manager of TechDistribution, the company adds value to the IT reseller channel by offering trainings on Microsoft products and licensing apart from the timely quotations and faster local delivery. The IT resellers can also get online technical support through the reseller technical support centre in TechDistribution Sri Lanka. TechDistribution will soon be offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support locally in Brunei and this will be really beneficial for the Brunei IT resellers.

TechDistribution focuses on the IT Reseller Channel in Brunei and does not approach the end users directly and only the IT Resellers are able to procure Microsoft Original Software Licences through TechDistribution.
