Abandoned Stalls Attracting Criminals And Junkies
By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan - Abandoned stalls were reported to have been used by loafers and criminals as meeting points.

The dilapidated stalls were also used to commit unhealthy practices such as drugs consumption and other anti-social activities like close proximity.

Yesterday the presence of a row of abandoned stalls in Jerudong was brought to the attention of the Borneo Bulletin by nearby dwellers, who claimed that the empty stalls were used for illegal and immoral activities.

They alleged that the abandoned stalls were used by criminals as a meeting point to watch prospective houses to break into.

The overgrown grasses around the stalls could also attract snakes and other creepy reptiles looking for a breeding ground. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
