Fireworks Sparkle In Night Sky

Bandar Seri Begawan - The festive season of Hari Raya Aidilftri this year is comparatively different to that of the previous year, especially when it comes to the use of fireworks to welcome the joyous occasion.

Almost every night, fireworks of different colours and styles can be seen in the night skies, as though residents in various villages are battling with each other in creativity whey in comes to firework displays.

According to observers, it is the latest way of celebrating Hari Raya, by colouring the skies with an assortment of fireworks. They added that it is also a way of congratulating each other for surviving the month-long Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, legal fireworks are easily accessible at supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the country.

However, the company that supplies the fireworks reminds the public to be mindful of children who play with fireworks. The spokesman said fireworks are safe for children under adult supervision. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
