Chinese Commerce Officials And Lions Club Visit Istana

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 200 members and families of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, BSB extended Hari Raya greetings to His Majesty the Sultan Dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal Family during the second day (Thursday) of the open house at Istana Nurul Iman.

Led by Mr Robert Koh Hoe Kiat, the President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, BSB, around five buses transported the Chinese well-wishers to the palace. Meanwhile, some 41 members of the Lions Club of Bangkok Chomthong, Talinngchan (Dee-Thai) and Taiwan's Lions Club of Taipei Chung Pei also went to the Palace to greet the Royal Family.

Meanwhile, yesterday's third day of open house at Istana Nurui Iman also saw some 70 staff of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) exchange festive greetings with His Majesty.
