Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei students studying overseas also celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri in style.

Students on a Brunei Shell sponsored course in Petroleum Engineering at the University of New SouthWales in Sydney, Australia, said they make the most of it with available resources in celebrating this year's Aidilfitri.

They are keen to keep to tradition even though they are thousands of miles away from home.

Though they are not able to celebrate Hari Raya with their families, they have shown team spirit to the highest level in performing prayers and enjoying one of the greatest festivals in the Islamic calendar, celebrated after one month of dawn to dusk fast.

Meanwhile, students at the Sheffield University, UK also performed Hari Raya prayers and celebrated to their hearts' content, given the circumstances and being away from home. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
