Bandar Seri Begawan - "Gardening might be a lot of work but it brings your house to life and helps cool it down,' said businessman Hj Mohd Yussof binHj Mastan, owner of Rosmy Villa in Kg Tilong, Jalan Muara.

Having visited many places and seeing many beautiful gardens during business trips overseas, he transformed a bare spot with a patch of grass into a blooming and colourful garden.

He has mini-waterfalls at the corner of the house and a shelter hut. Different plants are arranged infront of his house and flowers bloom, too. Stones are also important because they can be arranged in different styles, he said. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
