Ex-Army Association To Hold AGM

Begawan - The association of former soldiers will be holding
its annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday Nov 19 at 9am to elect new
committee members to lead the association into much greater heights.
To be held at the Lecture Hall,
Hassanal Bolkiah National Bolkiah, Berakas, all members are urged to
attend the AGM so they can elect leaders of their choice whom they are
confident will be able to fight for their cause.
Currently the presidency is held by
Pehin Datu Indera Negara Lt Col (Rtd) Dato Paduka Hj Md Ariffin bin
Dato Paduka Hj Abd Wahab.
The acting secretary general Pehin
Dam Perkasa Col (Rtd) Dato Haji Ishak bin Haji Abd Hamid said the AGM
will also seek to approval the financial and activity reports of the
association. "The association activities over past one will also be up
for deliberation during-the AGM," he said.
The Ex-Army Association has been
proactive since its formation. The association is meant to look after
the welfare of former soldiers.
It has organised activities such as
religious talks, walkathon, garage sale, tahlil at Kubah Makam Diraja
