His Majesty the Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak
Hajah Saleha and Her Royal Highness Pg Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar binti
Hakim Mazhar exchanged Hari Raya greetings with state dignitaries and
foreign diplomats at the Istana Nurul Iman on Tuesday morning, shortly
after performing the Hari Raya prayer at the mosque in the capital.
Present were His Royal Highness the
Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran
Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah.
Attending the gathering were His
Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran
Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, His Royal Highness Prince Haji
Sufri Bolkiah and YAM Pg Bini Hajah Faizah as well as His Royal
Highness Prince Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen.
Also present were HRH Princess Hjh
Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah, HRH Princess Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah, HRH
Princess Hjh Hafizah Sururul Bulqiah, HRH Princess Hjh Masna, HRH
Princess Hjh Amal Umi Khalthum Al-Islam, HRH Princess Hjh Norehsani as
well as His Majesty's grandchildren and other members of the royal
family.
His Majesty's guests comprised Yang
Amat Mulia Pengiran Cheterias, cabinet ministers, members of councils,
deputy ministers, foreign diplomats, permanent secretaries and senior
government officials and their spouses who lined up to greet the royal
entourage before mingling for about an hour with the royalty.
Some were armed with cameras, as it
was also an opportunity for them to pose for group photos with the
royalty.
Istana
Nurul Iman will be open for three days beginning Wednesday for the
public to convey their greetings to His Majesty and the royal family.
They can visit the Istana from 10 am until 12 noon, and again from 2
pm to 4 pm.
