Cookies Gone Flying As Celebrant Suffers Road Mishap

Bandar Seri Begawan - An accident along the Berakas- Muara highway yesterday afternoon prevented a local woman's intention to send Hari Raya goodies to her friends as a gesture of "Sedekah". She lost control of her car and hit the road barriers sending her boxes of goodies flying everywhere.

According to Siti Rozidah Hj Abdullah, the victim, she was on her way taking the goodies when she had her mishap. Trying to avoid an accident on the road her car had lost control and hit the road barriers before coming to a stop. Her car suffered a lot of damage.

Passers by stopped to help her while others helped control the traffic while waiting for the police and ambulance to arrive as the driver suffered some injuries to her face and leg She was taken to RIPAS Hospital for treatment. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
