No. X-Trail Recall In Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - Boustead Sdn Bhd said the X-Trail model in Brunei is not affected by the recall announcement of Nissan Motor Co. for 130,000 utility vehicles produced from August 2004 to July 2006 due to an ignition key defect.

M 'Elina Lai, Customer Relations Officer of Boustead Sdn Bhd, said in Brunei, the X-Trail (T30) is not equipped with the Intelligent Key. Japan is the only country affected.

Countries affected by the Nissan Z50 (Murano model) recall are USA, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan. The A34 Maxima is produced in the USA and the countries affected are USA, Canada and Mexico. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
