Border Posts Queues Live On B.Mobile
By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan - B.Mobile web cameras placed at Kuala Lurah and Sungai Tujuh relay live to motorists on their way to Limbang or Miri whether there are long queues or none at the border posts.

Depending on the queue situation, motorists can decide early if they have to carry on or abort their travel plans after surfing the Internet through their 3G phones at b.mobile's b.world portal.

Yesterday, the live web camera of b.mobile showed a, long queue at the Kuala Lurah border posts as motorists waited for their turn to go to Limbang. 'However, border hoppers have been ignoring

Miri. The-webcam showed it was quiet at the Sungai Tujuh border post yesterday.

Local shoppers went to Limbang in full force yesterday as local civil servants received their October pay yesterday.

Also receiving their pay were government daily paid workers, civil servant pensioners, old age pensioners and alms recipients.

Locals usually hopped to the border town, in Limbang for last minute shopping to buy items not available in the sultanate.

"It is easy for us. Before embarking on a journey to Miri or-Limbang; we surf the internet through our b.mobile 3G phone.

"If there is a long queue we can abort the journey or find alternative routes," said b. mobile subscribers. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
